Hi, I’m Missy Leis.
My career in the legal field began in 1991 when I was hired by one of our firm’s founders, Lawrence S. Huffman, to work for Attorney Brad Kelley. Through the years, I continued to work for Brad but also spent time working with Attorneys Blain Brock and Larry Huffman along with many others. In 2024, Brad retired from our firm and that is when Andrea and I started working together.
I am a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School and Northwestern Business College. I am also currently a member of the newly founded Allen County Legal Professional Association. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, traveling with my husband and reading.
Working with Andrea has been great because she truly cares about her clients and works hard to get them the best possible outcome!

My name is Avalon, and I am an assistant to Attorney Andrea Henning. Born and raised in Lima, Ohio, I graduated from Bath High School. Currently, I am enrolled at Ohio Northwestern University, where I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business law.
My adventure in the legal field started in August of 2023 when I began my internship with Attorney Andrea Henning. This opportunity has been incredibly rewarding, and I’ve grown to love the dynamic and impactful nature of this career. Working under Andrea’s mentorship has been nothing short of inspiring. I am also an active member of the Allen County Legal Professional Association, which has provided me with valuable networking and learning experiences.
My goal is to obtain my law degree and become an attorney, a path I am passionate about. I am dedicated to making a difference in the legal world and am excited about the journey ahead!
When I’m not immersed in legal studies or work, I love to travel and explore new places. Horseback riding is another lifelong passion of mine.
